Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to design end-to-end architectures across applications, data platforms, security, and cloud infrastructure.

You will lead architecture efforts across several software product teams, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements, while mentoring engineers. You will evaluate emerging technologies, deliver PoCs, and drive adoption of innovative solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities, to advance healthcare

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions and reference architectures spanning applications, APIs, integrations, data platforms, SSO, CIAM, MDM, security, AI, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead solution architecture across multiple software product teams to promote consistent application of enterprise design and development standards.
• Translate functional, non-functional, operational, security, risk, and business requirements into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solution designs.
• Lead technology evaluations, architecture and design sessions, and technical decision-making in partnership with engineering teams and clients.
• Develop proofs of concept, reference implementations, automation, and technical solutions to evaluate and accelerate adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.
• Establish and advocate for architectural standards, patterns, frameworks, tools, and best practices that improve engineering quality and productivity.
• Ensure solution designs align with applicable industry, regulatory, security, business continuity, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, CloudOps, and IT teams to connect enterprise strategy with implementation and maintain architectural consistency.
• Maintain and communicate reusable reference architectures, technical standards, and architectural guidance for engineering teams.
• Mentor engineering teams in adopting new technologies, architectural patterns, and development practices.

Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
