Job summary

Vizient, Inc is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications aligned with our technology strategy. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product owners, and contribute to scalable solutions across multiple domains.

Key qualifications include 5+ years in Java/C#/.NET, RESTful APIs, Angular, Spring Boot, Azure, and CI/CD. You will drive architecture discussions in an Agile environment and champion modern engineering practices and quality

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with SQL development, database design, query optimization, and DDL/DML operations required.
• Java/C#/.NET development while utilizing technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Java, Spring MVC, JPA or similar experience required.
• Experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular required.
• Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and integrated application architectures required.
• Experience with Agile delivery, TDD, CI/CD, and effective use of Copilot/AI-assisted development preferred.
• EDI/document integration experience; Boomi or Axway preferred.
• Experience working in Agile development environments utilizing continuous integration, automated testing, and modern engineering practices preferred.
• Experience working within enterprise-scale distributed software development environments preferred.
• Experience with cloud technologies required, Microsoft Azure preferred.

• Recommend improvements to engineering standards, development practices, and operational processes.
• Identify emerging technologies, technical trends, and opportunities to improve solution delivery.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code review activities.
• Support Agile development practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

Estimated Hiring Range
