Reporting to the Director of File Based Solutions at Evertz, Burlington, Ontario, this role designs, documents, and delivers end-to-end enterprise solutions for broadcast facilities. You will liaise with clients, account managers, R&D, and project managers to map requirements to Evertz hardware, software, and services, and lead proposals and design packages.

• Experience in designing, documenting and sustaining full life cycle end-to-end enterprise-wide client facing projects.
• Experience working with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, business/traffic systems type deployments and workflows i.e. the complete broadcast and media food chain.
• Electronics engineering (or similar) education
• Problem-solving, and strong communication skills
• Results oriented, self-motivated, and team player
• Familiar with BXF and industry standard traffic solutions
• Must have 3 or more years experience deploying file based work flow solutions
• Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure
• Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format
• Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types
• Good written and verbal communications skills

Reporting to the Director of File Based Solutions, you work between Evertz clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management to completely architect, design and document the requirements and implementation approach for Evertz end-to-end enterprise solutions for broadcast and media facilities. The successful candidate must be able to capture our client’s vision, business requirement as well as technical requirements and map those into Evertz hardware, software and professional services offerings. Candidate must be comfortable in both a client facing role as well as internally facing to R&D and delivery service groups.

Responsibilities:

Location: Burlington, Ontario
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.
Vacancy: This is an existing position.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.
