  • Communicate GitLab’s vision, strategy, and values in a way that helps your team apply them in day‑to‑day work.
  • Track team execution through key performance indicators and provide clear updates to peers and leadership.
  • Model strong customer engagement by acting as a Solutions Architect on selected opportunities to support customer success.

  • Leadership: 2+ years of experience leading high‑performing teams, ideally in a global or remote environment.
  • Experience leading teams with accountability for execution, coaching, and performance.
  • Experience in technical pre‑sales or a related information technology role that supports customer‑facing solution design.
  • Knowledge of modern software development or operations practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and the practices that support secure, scalable adoption.
  • Ability to mentor others and give and receive constructive feedback in a clear, respectful way.
  • Experience working with other managers and cross‑functional partners to develop and carry out shared strategies.
  • Experience supporting public sector customers and understanding the needs of regulated or mission‑driven environments.
  • Openness to bringing transferable leadership and technical experience from adjacent fields where customer outcomes, collaboration, and technical credibility are important.
