Inviting applications for the role of Solutions Consultant/Architect - Supply Chain Consulting

As a Kinaxis RapidResponse Solution Architect, you’ll work externally with clients to help identify their most pressing supply chain and operational challenges, and internally collaborate with your colleagues to design, develop, deploy, and support solutions. Work on multifaceted projects that demand analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

You’ll work with clients to improve their strategies, processes, and operational alignment. Our focus is on technology-enabled business transformation. Projects range from short, multi-week assessments to phased multi-month design and implementations and everything in-between. The variety of projects provides the Solution Architect with a dynamic and highly challenging opportunity to grow and learn.

Your Role

The Solution Architect is a key member of our implementation team. A leader with deep system implementation experience, you will be the main point of contact between the client and Genpact’s consulting team. You will be involved in driving requirements gathering sessions, developing a solid design, and working with their teammates to execute a smooth implementation. The solution architect's process typically involves recommending the most appropriate technology for the client based on the architect’s expertise.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Provide the connection between our clients’ strategic business leaders and Genpact’s technical team by clearly communicating business functional issues.
  • Conduct business processes and requirements analysis.
  • Advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform and supporting technologies.
  • Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management.
  • Produce technical architectures, develop system requirements, identify resources, and estimate timelines for project completion.
  • Develop client-ready materials related to requirement specification, process analysis, system-based and manual controls, functional design, and test plans.
  • Assist in the scoping of prospective engagements, developing proposals, planning, logistics, and the execution of project management processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, supply chain management, or other relevant degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with functional knowledge in supply chain, demand or supply planning, S&OP, after sales service operations, or transportation management
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems, processes and data, and business operations
  • Experience integrating to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle
  • Experience in systems integration and ETL tools, data mapping, and systems integration a plus
  • Exceptional drive, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute to a team environment.
  • An ability to prioritize and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
  • Good work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.

Location and Travel

The nature of our business requires travel to client locations. Travel tends to fluctuate depending on specific project and client needs but typically is in the range of 25-50%.
