Job summary

World Bank Group seeks an Associate Solutions Architect to design and build AI-enabled platforms with hands-on execution from day one. You will evaluate emerging technologies, craft PoCs and MVPs, and guide sponsors through feasible technical options.

Qualifications

Proven experience building applications from idea to working solution, with at least two self-designed examples.
Strong hands-on engineering capability with ability to write, review, and troubleshoot production code.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
Solid Microsoft Dataverse skills spanning data modelling, security, integration, and ALM.
Experience building secure applications on Microsoft Azure and AWS, including serverless, containers, and identity management.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern enterprise stacks (e.g., .NET, Python, JavaScript).

Responsibilities

Turn high-level ideas into framed technical problems, candidate designs, and a path to a first working version.
Build PoCs and MVPs to validate concepts quickly and surface risks.
Evaluate emerging platforms, frameworks, and AI models against institutional problems, with cost, risk, and adoption implications.
Apply a fail-fast approach and document learnings for future initiatives.
Prepare experiments for transition to product teams, including documentation and handover.
Contribute reusable patterns and components to shorten the path from idea to working software.
