Job summary

RealPage, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the technical north star for cross‑product platforms, translating business outcomes into scalable architectures and guiding teams from design to production.

You will partner with product, engineering, security, and operations to design services, evaluate technologies like Kafka, NoSQL, and cloud platforms, and mentor engineers while shaping governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering scalable, secure solutions.
• Clear communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Proficiency in modern web tech and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with RealPage ecosystem or large SaaS integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand needs and integration points.
• Translate requirements into architectural designs and roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering to ensure delivery aligns with intent.
• Evaluate technologies and patterns to improve performance and reliability.

At LOFT Moving by RealPage, our focus is on building great products that solve real-world problems for our customers. Our core product is LOFT Moving and the Moving Marketplace, a series of Resident facing applications thathelpsresidents move into their new home.

We are looking for a smart,capable solutionsarchitect to join our growing and diverse team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be the technical north star for complex,crossproductsolutions—translating business outcomes into resilient architectures and guiding teams from concept to production.You’llpartner deeply with product, engineering, security, and operations to design scalable services, derisk delivery, and raise the bar on quality and velocity. In our environment, solutionsfrequentlyspan microservices with RESTful APIs, evented integrations, and polyglot persistence (including NoSQL), with services coordinating via message queues and touchpoints into RealPage platform systems—soyou’llshape designs that are observable, secure, and easy tooperateat scale.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural standards, best practices, and governance.

Qualifications

• Proventrack recordof delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Clear communicator:ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
• Software engineering depthin TypeScript/Node/React, plus CI/CD and automated testing patterns.
• Cloud Architecture:deep familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bonus Knowledge/Skills
• RealPage ecosystem familiarity(e.g., UDMS/UDM, Resident Identity/CIDP, OneSite,ActiveBuilding) or prior experience integrating with large SaaS platforms.
• Event streaming(e.g., Kafka) and advanced messaging patterns (DLQs, compaction,exactlyoncesemantics).
• Cloud architecture depth(AWS/Azure/GCP)includingVPC design, private networking, managed messaging/databases, andIaC.
• Compliance/regulatoryexperience (SOC 2, PCI, GDPR/CCPA) and security hardening at the platform and service levels.
