Solutions Architect Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

This is a remote position where the BC/DR Solutions Architect works out of his/her home office.

The candidate is expected to travel throughout the assigned region to provide the necessary consulting and implementations services in an efficient and effective manner.

The BC/DR Solutions Architect is part of IGEL Global Advanced Services team and operates as a highly skilled technical and business resource.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain business continuity & disaster recovery plans. Conduct risk assessments, impact analysis, and recovery testing. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements: 8+ years of BC/DR experience in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud recovery, and resiliency planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional duties include documentation of solution specifications for customer implementations. The Business Continuity Solutions Architect will develop output presentations from the BC/DR assessment that will be delivered in-person or via web conference to customer technical and clinical leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide customers and partners with Business Continuity planning, implementation, and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery best practices for partners and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery technology trends.
• Use of remote tools to assist customers; troubleshoot and debug Citrix, VMware, AVD, Amazon Workspace and RDS sessions on the IGEL OS.
• Install, configure and Optimize the IGEL OS Solutions.
• Up to 50% travel is required for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced BC/DR Specialist (5+ years) to lead planning, implementation, and testing of continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• 5+ years relevant engineering, consulting, or system integration experience.
• Experience with application and desktop virtualization platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies.
