Solutions Architect at NuView - Azure & MSP Career Growth — Remote
This Solutions Architect role at NuView sits at the intersection of pre-sales consulting and technical delivery — a high-value position that builds skills sought across MSPs, SIs, and enterprise IT. The emphasis on BOM creation, scoping, and pre-sales engagement makes this a strong stepping stone toward Principal Architect, vCTO, or Director of Solutions Engineering roles.
Compensation context: No salary is listed, but market benchmarks for Solutions Architects in the US Midwest/East Coast with MSP experience typically range from $110,000–$145,000 annually at this experience level (4+ years). Candidates with strong Azure/M365 credentials often command the higher end.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune — all high-demand cloud platforms with strong job market growth
- Cybersecurity frameworks integration — increasingly critical and well-compensated
- Pre-sales and client-facing technical consulting — rare combination that increases earning power
- Reusable architecture documentation — builds a portfolio-ready body of work
Culture signals: The structured decision-making authority section (what you can and cannot approve) suggests a mid-sized, process-oriented company rather than a scrappy startup. The emphasis on reducing engineering escalations and rework points to a maturing delivery organization investing in quality.
Green flags: Clear first-year success metrics, professional development support, and a well-defined role scope. Watch for: No mention of equity or bonus — verify total comp during interviews. The 10–20% travel requirement should be factored into work-life balance expectations.
