SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect for the AI Lab in Piscataway, NJ to design scalable AI architectures and enable internal teams. You will translate business needs into repeatable lab offerings and practical enablement materials, while partnering with engineering, PMO, sales, and partners to mature AI capabilities.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, documentation, and governance to ensure consistent delivery of AI Lab solutions across SHI’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Ability to design data center infrastructures that include hybrid cloud, SDDC, IaaS/PaaS, automation, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI Lab solution architectures aligned with SHI offerings and customer use cases.
• Develop internal technical enablement content, reference architectures, solution briefs, and guidance materials.
• Create and maintain solution documentation, BOMs, design assumptions, and SOW inputs for AI Lab solutions.
• Partner with AI Lab, PMO, Product Management, Sales Enablement, Engineering, and Partner teams to align design and delivery expectations.
• Support evaluation of AI ecosystem partners, platforms, infrastructure components, and solution patterns for AI Lab use cases.
• Establish repeatable standards, templates, governance, and solution packaging for AI Lab offerings.
• Provide internal technical guidance on AI infrastructure, data center architecture, deployment considerations, and emerging AI trends.
• Support intake, prioritization, scoping, and handoff processes to ensure AI Lab opportunities are ready for execution.

This role will serve as a technical advisor and hands-on solution designer for AI solutions, helping translate business needs into scalable lab offerings, repeatable architectures, and practical enablement materials for SHI teams, while implementing these solutions within the SHI AI Lab. This position will partner closely with AI Lab leadership, PMO, engineering, and partner teams to define and deploy solutions, document technical designs, and help mature AI Lab capabilities. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
