Job summary

Terracon Consultants is seeking a PPM Architect to own the functional architecture for Oracle Fusion Projects. You will design solutions for complex billing scenarios, deliver functional specs for RICEF objects, and support CRP, SIT, and UAT with business users.

Based in a remote setting with potential for occasional travel, you will report to the functional lead and guide architecture decisions, ensuring scalable, secure Fusion Cloud implementations and integration with other systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Eight years of applicable business or system development experience.
• Experience Implementing Oracle Fusion Finance, EPM and HCM.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure including Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Knowledge of, and expertise in, VBCS, OTBi, BI Publisher and OIC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions.
• Design end-to-end finance processes (e.g., Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report) and HCM processes.
• Review and deliver functional specifications documentation for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Fast Formula)
• Assist business users during CRP, SIT, and UAT.
• Design, implement, and maintain the technical architecture for Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with other systems, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship
• Responsible for providing expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the overall systems architecture.
• Work with product teams to guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and software
• Review, advise and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
• Contribute to the road map for each system, including (when known) technical or functional obsolescence dates
• Assist in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
• Provide technical guidance and productivity tools to product teams.
• Develop and maintain architectural assets including security requirements, principles, standards, policies, reference architectures, models, blueprints, roadmaps, frameworks, patterns and services using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Research new technologies and demonstrate the use by developing proof of concept demonstrations.
• Work closely with cloud-native application architectures like PaaS, IaaS, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, API design.
• Develop, create awareness for, and monitor adherence to integration standards that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability.
• Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs.

Description

Terracon Consultants is a 100% employee-owned professional services engineering firm and project-centric business currently in the go-live phase of a major Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation. They are seeking a PPM Architect to own the functional architecture for Oracle Fusion Projects. This person will design solutions for complex billing scenarios, deliver functional specs for RICEF objects, and support CRP, SIT, and UAT directly with business users. Because projects is the core of how Terracon operates, there are significant areas where Oracle's standard functionality falls short, this person needs to be a creative problem solver who can design around those gaps, not just identify them. This person will report directly to Prathima Gaddala and serve as the functional authority for all Oracle Projects architecture decisions.

Design and implement Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions

Design end-to-end finance processes (e.g., Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report) and HCM (e.g. Hire to retire) processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
