Job summary
RealmOne is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead portfolio rationalization, consolidating applications, and aligning with the Sponsor's unified systems roadmap. You will design cloud-based solutions and integrate multiple systems to enhance services for government missions.
The role requires federal enterprise system experience, strong communication skills, and a background in software engineering or computer science.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science required.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a solutions architect.
- Five (5) years translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Three (3) years of Federal Government enterprise system management.
- Experience with full lifecycle project engineering and development.
- Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms.
- Experience designing and integrating multiple systems and applications.
- Experience rationalizing IT portfolio to support enhancements and consolidating stacks.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce and ServiceNow.
- Experience developing/supporting complex technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integrating emerging technologies into an enterprise framework.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns such as microservice.
Responsibilities

Job Description:
The Solutions Architect shall act as the single focal point within the Contractor's areas of activity for portfolio rationalization; proactively looking for all opportunities to consolidate applications; prevent competing technologies; and identify new technologies to provide better services to the Agency. The Solutions Architect shall also ensure that the implementation of the Sponsor's unified systems roadmap for product lines, systems, and/or services maintains compliance with Sponsor standards and strategies.
- Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science,
- Seven (7) years of experience as a solutions architect
- Five (5) years of experience understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Three (3) years of specialized experience in Federal Government enterprise system management
- Experience with full lifecycle project engineering and development
- Experience explaining complex problems in the simplest possible terms
- Experience designing and integrating multiple systems, services and applications
- Experience analyzing and rationalizing IT portfolio‑based platform(s) (cloud applications, hardware, software) to support enhancements to current applications and systems; as well as streamlining and consolidating stacks
- Experience with designing and implementing cloud‑based solutions.
- Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce and ServiceNow
- Experience in developing/supporting complex technical solutions.
- Experience and familiarity integrating emerging technologies into an enterprise framework
- Experience and knowledge of various architecture patterns such as microservice
- Desired Experience:
- Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
- Experience designing and implementing multi‑cloud solutions
- Experience with emerging technologies to include leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
