Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a Solution Architect to lead scalable, secure architectures across ERP, PLM, MES and cloud environments for aerospace and defense programs.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT to deliver compliant Digital Thread solutions, API ecosystems, and AI-enabled enterprise architectures while upholding zero-trust principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or computing.
• 8+ years in solution architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
• Hands-on with PLM, ERP, cloud platforms, and integration tools listed.
• Designing distributed systems and secure enterprise architectures.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST/CMMC).
• Familiarity with TOGAF and Zachman; enterprise integration patterns.
• DevSecOps, IaC (Terraform, ARM), and regulated CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Define target architectures across apps, integrations, infra and data.
• Design scalable cloud/hybrid solutions (AWS/Azure/GovCloud).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and digital thread strategy.
• Incorporate zero-trust and secure-by-design methodologies.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Define integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch, streaming).
• Architect data flows across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Develop architecture decision records and design docs.
• Provide technical oversight through implementation.
