Our IT department is diverse, strategic, and innovative, emphasizing patients, community, clinicians, outcomes, safety, and quality. We are advancing our technology platforms and seeking a dedicated Epic Applications Analyst.

About the Job:

  • We are hiring an Epic Application Analyst for the following applications: Cadence/Prelude.

Final placement within levels 1-4 will depend on experience, Epic training status, and cultural fit.

  • The role involves implementing, developing, and maintaining the Epic system and related third-party systems. Analysts progress from entry-level (I) to expert (IV), with increasing responsibilities. Duties include providing support, client interaction, ensuring compliance, mentoring, and leading projects to enhance patient safety and quality. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and partnership skills are essential.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Eastern time, with some flexibility. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Occasional coverage outside regular hours may be necessary. This position is remote with a suitable home office environment. Travel may be required for Go-Live support or training.

What You’ll Do:

  • System Build and Configuration: Research and configure systems to improve processes and safety.
  • Heuristic Design: Use clinical/business knowledge to inform workflow and system design, incorporating heuristics in software development.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Embrace change, seek improvements, and demonstrate innovation.
  • Ensure Accountability: Take responsibility, correct mistakes, and uphold service standards.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Build effective partnerships and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Information Technology: Apply systems development lifecycle principles for system development and maintenance.
  • Project Management: Manage projects following project management best practices.
  • Documentation and Testing: Maintain documentation, develop test scripts, and ensure quality standards.

Who You Are:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant training or aptitude in analytical skills; experience with vendor software or healthcare operations preferred.
  • Epic certification and training status vary by level; all levels require prior Epic experience. Advanced levels require current Epic certifications in primary and additional applications.
  • Strong experience in system analysis, project management, and business process reengineering in healthcare is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities.
  • Proficient in computer use and effective communication skills, including virtual meetings.
