Peninsula Federal Credit Union in Michigan is seeking a qualified professional for a delinquency and member services role. You will contact members about late payments, monitor accounts, and assist with resolution strategies to protect member finances.
The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and basic Excel skills; prior customer service or finance experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to work at multiple branches with a flexible schedule.

Contacting membership regarding delinquent payments, monitoring accounts for payment and submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts. This individual will also handle accounts with Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and Repossession. Contact membership regarding returned checks and handling returned checks, reviewing member account to offer possible options to remove delinquency.
One to three years of similar or related experience.
A high school education or GED.
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Ability to operate general office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, scanners, and possess computer keyboard skills. Knowledgeable with creating, maintaining, and updating Excel spreadsheets. Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Sedentary work: must be able to sit for long periods of time in a day (up to 9 hours), possess hand, wrist, and finger dexterity to use keyboard, phone and calculator in a repetitive manner throughout your scheduled time, and the ability to view a computer monitor throughout your scheduled time.
Must be available to work from 7:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and have a flexible schedule. May be required to work at other branches and have the ability to travel to those branches.
