Job description

Build the Bridge Between What We Sell and What We Deliver

You’ll be the person who knows more about a project than anyone else in the building: where it stands, what’s been promised, what’s still open, and who needs to hear about it next. The Solution Specialist keeps every project, from signed quote to finished installation, moving forward and true to what the customer actually needs.

If you’re the kind of person who color-codes your to-do list, catches the detail everyone else missed, and actually enjoys being the go-to person across a dozen moving parts, this role was built for you.

About Innoveyance

Innoveyance designs and builds engineered material-handling solutions for the corrugated packaging industry: custom equipment, conveyor systems, automation, and installation services tailored to each customer’s facility and production line.

The Opportunity

As a Solution Specialist, you’ll be the main point of contact linking Regional Sales Managers, customers, CAD and Engineering, Production, Controls, Purchasing, and Installation. You’ll make sure scope, drawings, documentation, and customer expectations match at every stage of a project. You’ll also get out from behind a desk regularly to visit customer sites, gather information firsthand, and help shape solutions that actually work in the real world.

No industry background? No problem. We’ll train the right person. What matters most is how you think and work.

What You’ll Do
  • Own assigned projects end-to-end: from approved quote through customer approval, production release, and completion
  • Travel with or on behalf of Regional Sales Managers for customer site visits and project meetings
  • Gather and document site details: measurements, equipment, layouts, utilities, safety requirements, and installation constraints
  • Keep Sales, Engineering, CAD, Production, and Installation working from the same up-to-date project information
  • Review layouts and documentation for accuracy and completeness before work moves forward
  • Manage customer approvals, addendums, open questions, and drawing revisions
  • Assess how project changes ripple through cost, schedule, engineering, production, and installation
  • Serve as a direct point of contact for customers on proposed, pending, and approved projects
  • Keep records up to date in CRM, Smartsheet, and other company systems
  • Flag risks, delays, and scope concerns early, and know when to escalation
  • Bring a continuous‑improvement mindset to project reviews and internal processes
What You’ll Bring

You are someone who:

  • Takes ownership and follows through without needing to be chased
  • Notices when information is missing, inconsistent, or off, and chases it down
  • Juggles multiple priorities and deadlines without losing track of the details
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with customers and teammates across departments
  • Asks good questions and picks up new technical concepts quickly
  • Stays calm, professional, and solutions‑oriented when a project gets messy
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfort learning to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications
  • A bachelor’s degree is not required; relevant experience and demonstrated ability matter more
Nice to have (training provided)
  • Experience coordinating projects, customer requests, schedules, or documentation
  • Exposure to technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD/CRM/Smartsheet‑style systems
  • Background in industrial equipment, manufacturing, construction, or material handling
  • Experience with change orders, revisions, approvals, or installation coordination
  • Any background in project coordination, customer service, operations, manufacturing, construction, logistics, technical support, or administration
Travel & Work Environment

Regular travel to customer facilities, job sites, and company locations, including occasional overnight trips

Site visits take place inside working industrial and manufacturing facilities

Expect exposure to noise, dust, equipment, uneven surfaces, and stairs. Proper safety procedures and PPE are always provided and required
