Job Description

The Senior Solution Product Owner is responsible for delivering solution products that drive value for our customers. This role is part of a product development team and partners with engineering teams to understand business problems, refine and prioritize the product backlog, elicit and document software Product Discovery/Definition, and develop and validate solutions for development team members daily. The Senior Solution Product Owner possesses knowledge of product delivery and acts as the primary interface with Scrum Teams.

Responsibilities
  • Act as primary point of contact and decision maker on product discovery/definition and features, managing the backlog and preparing for sprints.
  • Work with product managers and operations teams to convert product discovery into actionable backlog items, prioritizing and sequencing them.
  • Translate product vision into a roadmap and releases, owning the backlog and aligning stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to facilitate team progress.
  • Monitor feature performance, provide input on testing, and ensure quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Develop strong relationships with development teams, internal groups, and customers for effective delivery.
  • Collaborate on product documentation and monitor industry changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading business processes or system changes.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Strong market awareness and customer focus.
  • Ownership of complex decisions and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an agile environment, software design, and Product Owner roles.
  • Certifications like SAFe PO/PM preferred.
  • Experience with MVP, Scrum, Lean startup, UX design, and cloud products.
  • Industry experience in PBM or related fields.
  • Technical background in architectures like service-oriented, web services, databases.
  • Change management experience.
Physical Demands
  • Constant sitting, using hands, talking, hearing.
  • Frequent reaching, occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
  • Lifting up to 10-25 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required.

All employees must adhere to security responsibilities and legal requirements.

Potential pay ranges from $94,000 to $160,000 based on experience and skills.
