Insight Public Sector is seeking a Solution Principal Sr to shape complex AI infrastructure opportunities, from executive engagement to strategy and delivery approach. You will collaborate with AI Specialists, sellers, partners, and delivery teams to position Insight as a trusted advisor for enterprise AI infrastructure decisions.

In this role, you will engage executives on strategy, economics, governance, and operating models, while guiding the pursuit with cross-functional teams to drive value

Competenze

• Experience as a senior strategic advisor in enterprise infrastructure, AI infrastructure, cloud, data center modernization, or hybrid platform opportunities.
• Ability to lead executive and senior technical conversations while delegating BOM creation and hands-on design to engineers.
• Strong understanding of GPU-accelerated infrastructure and AI platform architecture.
• Ability to translate customer priorities into strategic solution plans and measurable outcomes.

Solution Principal - AI Infrastructure

Location: You will have the flexibility to work fully remotely.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is typically $195,000 to $220,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.

As a Solutions Principal Sr, you will be responsible for shaping complex AI infrastructure opportunities from early executive engagement through solution strategy, delivery approach, and customer confidence. We will count on you to work in close conjunction with AI Specialist Solutions Architects, sellers, partner teams, and delivery leaders to ensure Insight is positioned as a trusted advisor for enterprise AI infrastructure decisions. Along the way, you will get to:

• Establish trust in priority accounts by engaging customer executives and senior technical stakeholders around AI infrastructure strategy, economics, governance, operating model, and time to value.


• Frame the customer decision so Insight is seen as a strategic advisor rather than only a hardware, platform, or bill-of-materials provider.


• Stay engaged through the pursuit lifecycle at the level of strategy, value, delivery approach, risk, and executive alignment while AI Specialist Solutions Architects lead the detailed technical motion.


• Guide deal strategy in partnership with sellers, GTM leaders, AI Specialist Solutions Architects, delivery leaders, and practice leadership.

What we’re looking for

• Experience operating as a senior strategic advisor in complex enterprise infrastructure, AI infrastructure, cloud, data center modernization, or hybrid platform opportunities.


• Ability to lead executive and senior technical conversations while leaving detailed BOM creation, component-level sizing, and hands‑on design execution to aligned Solutions Architects and engineering teams.


• Strong understanding of GPU‑accelerated infrastructure, AI platform architecture, hybrid deployment models, and the operational considerations required to move from pilot to production.


• Ability to translate customer business priorities into solution strategy, delivery approach, risk considerations, and measurable outcomes.
