Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. seeks a Solution Engineer to lead pre-sales efforts for Device Security hardware platforms. You will demonstrate SCA and FI capabilities in customer labs and at Keysight facilities, and assist in designing lab hardware configurations aligned with customer needs.

Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years in hardware security or lab environments, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel 30–50% within North America. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI) preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 3–7 years of experience in electronic test and measurement, hardware security, or semiconductor lab environments.
• Hands-on experience with lab test setups, measurement systems, and electronics debugging.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
• Ability to work independently and travel 30–50% within North America.

• Conduct hardware demonstrations, PoC evaluations, and lab workshops.
• Collaborate with product development to feed back customer insights.
• Travel approximately 30–50% of the time within North America.

You willrepresentKeysight in the technical pre-sales phase, supporting customers in thedefinition and deployment of Device Securityhardware platforms andlaboratory setups.

• Academic institutions and hardware security research laboratoriesconducting vulnerability research, physical attack analysis, and embedded security innovation.
• Security certification and compliance organizations, including accredited Security Laboratories, Test Inspection & Certification (TIC) providers, and National Cybersecurity Agencies performing Common Criteria, SESIP, PSA, EUCC, and related evaluations.
• Digital forensics,andgovernmentanddefenselaboratoriesperforming secure device analysis, evidence extraction, and hardware security investigations.
• Embedded device and IoT product developersrequiring hardware security validation for secure elements, microcontrollers, SoCs, and connected devices.
• Device security evaluation using Side-Channel Analysis(SCA)and Fault Injection(FI)techniques

Responsibilities

As a Solution Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

• Technical ownership of customer opportunities during the pre-sales phase
• Customer face-to-face engagement and technical presentation of Keysight Device Security hardware platforms
• Demonstration of SCA andFIhardware solutionsin customer labs and at Keysight facilities
• Support customers in designing and configuring Device Security Lab hardware setups, best fitting with their needs and use-case(s)
• Technical feasibility analysis of customer requirements and test setups
• Support sales teams in defining the hardware solution architecture andconfiguration
• Preparation of the technical sections of proposals and tenders
• Execution of hardware demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and lab workshops
• Collaboration with product development teams to provide feedback from customer engagements
• Participation in technical workshops, conferences, and industry events as a hardware security expert
• Trainandeducatecustomersonthetheory andpractice of SCAand FI

Qualifications

• Strong understanding ofelectronicsmeasurement techniques, oscilloscopes,digitizers,signal acquisition, and hardware debugging.
• Hands-on experience working in technical lab environments.
• Ability to understand customer technical challenges and recommendappropriate hardwaresolutions
• Strong communicationand presentation skills with customer-facing experience
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with international teamsincluding Account Managers, ProductManagementand Product Marketing teams.
• Teamplayertoensure weprovidethebest customer experience butalsoindividually able toarrange travel andvisit customers
• Fluent in English;additionalEuropean languages are a plus.
