Job Description - Duties and Responsibilities:

Overview: The SAP Finance (FICO) Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing SAP Finance solutions that address client’s strategic and operational requirements. This role entails leading SAP FICO projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of SAP systems, and building strong relationships with clients’ financial team and leadership. The SAP FICO Solution Architect will provide technical expertise, guide solution development, and ensure alignment with the organization's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design and Implementation:
   1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Finance solutions.
   2. Conduct business requirements analysis and translate them into effective SAP FICO configurations.
   3. Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications and system documentation.
2. Project Management:
   1. Manage end-to-end SAP FICO projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
   2. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
   3. Coordinate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.
3. System Integration:
   1. Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
   2. Design and implement data interfaces to facilitate information flow between SAP FICO and other systems.
4. Technical Expertise and Support:
   1. Provide technical guidance and support for SAP FICO configurations, customizations, and enhancements.
   2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP FICO.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
   1. Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
   2. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance user understanding and adoption of SAP FICO.
6. Compliance and Documentation:
   1. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
   2. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO) implementation and support.
3. Proven experience in leading SAP FICO projects and delivering end-to-end solutions.
4. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA OnPrem, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master’s degree is preferred. SAP certification in Finance (FICO) or relevant SAP modules is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if necessary. Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or training sessions.
