Responsibilities

• Develop a service-based business for the Oil & Gas industry through client scoping calls, training, proposals, and content development.

• Ensure processes meet customer requirements and update internal engineering processes accordingly.
• Communicate project statuses weekly and monthly with supervisor and customer.
• Review project specifications to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Create, read, and analyze engineering reports and perform calculations as needed.
• Design scalable, high-availability solutions for engineering projects or programs.
• Strategize with stakeholders on feasibility and designs.

Emphasis: Business Development, Power Generation Industry with a focus on nuclear, natural gas, renewable Independent Power Producers (IPP) as well as coal conversion

This role within the Applied Engineering Practice of our Consulting division, is focused on business development and requires the use of engineering knowledge, experience, and judgement to solution projects for the Oil & Gas Industry based on customer challenges and requirements. Establishes and maintains competencies in technologies critical to support execution of the program’s strategic plan and roadmaps. Direct sales teams on where to find opportunities, develop services and service offerings for the industry and promote standardization and use of best design practices and continuous improvement of programs. Develop a GTM plan for the industry and build and grow a services domain. Champions systematic problem solving, data-driven decision making, and project management

Qualifications:

• Mechanical, Petroleum, or Electric Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry, both production, transfer, shipping, controls, and automation
• Experience with nuclear generation, gas generation, or power generation
• Understanding of design, fabrication, controls, and project engineering for Oil & Gas
• Understanding of basic engineering principles (material properties, strength testing, fluid dynamics, fabrication techniques, production techniques, etc.)
• High energy, fast paced, entrepreneurial thinking leader
• Project management and leadership experience
• Detail oriented, high organizational skills, excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to learn and desire to improve, capable of tailoring message to audience.
