Job summary

Capgemini seeks a MAXIMO Solution Architect to lead and deliver solutions for the MAXIMO Application Suite, focusing on the Utilities Industry. You will engage in full-cycle project management, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. Ideal candidates have a degree in Computer Science or IT and extensive experience with MAXIMO, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. This role entails designing architecture strategies and providing guidance to teams, contributing significantly to client success and business transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience with MAXIMO Application Suite and EAM.
  • Relevant certifications in IBM Maximo or related technologies preferred.
  • Utility Industry experience is a plus.

About the job you are considering:

  • Experience with the functional and operational aspects of MAXIMO Application Suite + Enterprise Asset Management + Utilities Industry Experience a plus
  • Application design, development of various application artifacts such as forms and rules, testing, troubleshooting (working in conjunction with Maximo Support as needed), pre- and post-implementation activities
  • Experience integrating Maximo with other systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience and theAbility to maintain Optimum availability of MAXIMO Environments
  • Ability to create, monitor, and migrate product-related application artifacts proactively
  • Strong problem-solving skills (from an Applications/Functional/Operational perspective) with the ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and master unfamiliar concepts quickly with little supervision
Your role:
  • Lead MAXIMO solutions through full cycle – requirements and design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support
  • Utility Industry experience a plus
  • Design and deliver MAXIMO architecture strategy with leading practices throughout all phases of Transformation
  • Expert in gathering business and functional requirements to set the direction of solution delivery aligned to business goals
  • Apply business and functional knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with the engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned MAXIMO solutions
  • Advise implementation team on best practices in planning and building planning applications for business rules, loading data to set up planning scenarios.
  • Lead Testing and Training Programs during Transformations
  • Help drive continuous process improvement of key controls and processes
  • Support change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with the MAXIMO Cloud Solution
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and performance counselling to consultants and client team members
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met.
Your skills and experience:
  • Qualified candidates must have a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
