Intone Inc. seeks a Solution Architect Lead based in Washington, DC, to own architecture, security design, AI engineering, and platform-release cadence for STAAND, a Dynamics 365/Power Platform-based system in GCC tenants and Azure in commercial cloud.

This hands-on role requires configuring, coding, prototyping, reviewing, and troubleshooting within the Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure stack, while guiding executive leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Microsoft Certifications MB-230, PL-600, AZ-305.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
• 16+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in enterprise architecture.
• 5 years as lead architect on full D365 lifecycles.
• 2 years in generative AI/agentic development (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Copilot Studio).
• 2 years of RAG/grounding, tool calling, agent orchestration, and AI evaluation methodologies.
• 5 years of application security experience in regulated environments (NIST 800-53).
• 2 years of government experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Solution Architect Lead for a 6-month contract role based in Washington, District of Columbia. You will own the architecture, security design, AI engineering, and platform-release change cadence for STAAND, a person-centric, AI-enabled platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform hosted in a Government Community Cloud (GCC) tenant, with Azure services in Microsoft\'s commercial cloud. STAAND supports child and family services social workers, supervisors, private agency partners, providers, resource parents, and District sister agencies across nine functional modules—Intake and Investigations, Case Management, ICPC, Finance, Provider, Eligibility and Subsidy, Placement, Services, and Management Reports—plus six external portals and CORA, an AI assistant supporting natural-language search and AI-assisted contact notes. This is a hands-on build-and-design role: you will personally configure, code, prototype, review, and troubleshoot within the platform while serving as the credible technical voice to executive leadership, the product team, technology leadership, Microsoft, and Federal partners.

• Design application security controls appropriate to regulated environments, including threat modeling and secure SDLC practices
• Architect cross-cloud and cross-tenant solutions spanning government (GCC) and commercial cloud environments
• Manage Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), solution layering, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Operate the live production system through vendor platform release waves without service disruption
• Develop and deliver executive and non-technical briefings to program leadership
• Extend D365 using pro-code approaches including C#/.NET plug-ins, custom APIs, and Power Component Framework (PCF) controls
• Design Power Pages portals and external-user security models
