We are seeking an expert solution architect to help redesign application architecture for scalability and to address current pain points. The Data Architect will participate in designing a high-performing Enterprise Data Warehouse using scalable methodologies and modern, multi-platform architecture. This role involves process improvement initiatives and setting best practice standards around Data Architecture, Metadata, Data Governance, and Master Data Management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in designing large-scale data warehouses and BI/reporting applications.
• Collaborate across the organization to architect data-driven solutions fulfilling stakeholder needs.
• Translate business needs into feasible data-centric semantic layer designs for technical teams.
• Participate in prioritizing and balancing technical and business needs of the data warehouse.
• Architect physical data models.
• Design and document 3NF normalized integration layer of the data warehouse.
• Design and document de-normalized dimensional presentation layer of the data warehouse.
• Enhance existing models to ensure compliance with best practices in master data management and layered architecture.
• Design, develop, document, and articulate enterprise data warehouse architecture.
• Evaluate reusability of current solutions for additional analysis while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
• Participate in documenting database standards and reference architecture procedures.
