Compunnel, Inc. seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a Home Lending Data Modernization Program.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data, Integration, or Solution Architecture.
• 7+ years architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms.
• Experience leading cloud modernization programs in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience supporting FR Y-14M reporting environments.
• Strong Home Lending and Mortgage domain experience.
• Strong experience designing cloud-based data ecosystems and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for the Home Lending data ecosystem.
• Establish target-state cloud architecture supporting FR Y-14M reporting requirements.
• Design scalable and resilient GCP-based data platforms supporting regulatory, operational, and analytical workloads.
• Develop architectural roadmaps supporting modernization and legacy platform retirement initiatives.
• Define enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and guidelines.
• Lead architecture governance reviews and design approvals.
• Define foundational Home Lending data models and architecture patterns.
• Develop cloud migration strategies for legacy and non-strategic data platforms.
• Design integration architecture supporting data movement across enterprise systems.
• Establish data governance and architecture frameworks supporting data quality, controls, and regulatory traceability.
• Partner with Business, Regulatory Reporting, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Controls, Testing, and Product teams.
• Support modernization initiatives that improve data quality, reduce operational complexity, and automate controls.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting FR Y-14M reporting environments.
• Strong Home Lending and Mortgage domain experience.
• Strong experience designing cloud-based data ecosystems and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT modernization, and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong architectural governance and solution design experience.
