Fractal is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with Azure, Databricks, and modern Data & AI expertise to design scalable, secure data platforms. You will partner with stakeholders, lead architecture reviews, and drive cloud modernization for enterprise analytics.

Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design, governance, and data mesh concepts, ensuring cost-effective and high-performance delivery across large datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Solution Architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark-based solutions.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and modern Data & AI platforms to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and clients to define architecture strategies, establish best practices, and drive successful implementation of cloud-based data platforms.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $160,000 - $210,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
