Job summary

Axians is seeking a Solution Architect to design, evolve, and operate critical IT infrastructure, middleware, and application services across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will collaborate with service delivery, engineering, and database teams to deliver scalable, secure IT solutions and support strategic transformation.

You will conduct architecture studies, perform PoCs, implement virtualization and containerization, and drive security, monitoring, and governance efforts

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution/infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and enterprise IT solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards and architectural practices.
• International project experience is highly valued.
• Certifications listed above are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture and technology studies assessing requirements.
• Define and evaluate solution architectures for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Perform proof-of-concepts, technical assessments, and evaluations.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions with virtualization and containerization.
• Support system hardening across Windows, Linux, databases, and apps.
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Contribute to cloud transformation using Kubernetes, SDN, and SDS.
• Design and implement PKI-based security solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and forecast-based recommendations.
• Prepare technical specifications and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Plan and supervise migrations, deployments, and modernization activities.
• Assess performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Support database implementation, customization, testing, and QA.
• Identify training needs and deliver technical training.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.

Solution Architect

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Solution Architect to support the design, evolution, and operational excellence of critical IT infrastructure, middleware, and application services within a highly complex international environment. In this role, you will contribute to architecture studies, technology selection, cloud and infrastructure engineering initiatives, security improvements, operational excellence, and technical governance. You will work closely with service delivery, engineering, and database teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient IT solutions while supporting strategic transformation initiatives.

What you will do on a daily base

• Conduct architecture and technology studies, assessing business, technical, operational, and security requirements.
• Define and evaluate solution architectures for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Perform proof-of-concepts, technical assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions involving virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Support system hardening activities across Windows, Linux, databases, and application platforms.
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Contribute to cloud transformation initiatives using Kubernetes, SDN, and SDS technologies.
• Design and implement authentication and PKI-based security solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and provide recommendations based on usage trends and forecasts.
• Prepare technical specifications and support technical evaluations of supplier proposals.
• Plan and supervise migrations, deployments, and infrastructure modernization activities.
• Assess solution performance and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support database implementation, customization, testing, quality assurance, documentation, and operational activities.
• Identify training needs, develop training materials, and deliver technical training sessions.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and operational procedures.

Your Key Skills

• Strong expertise in solution architecture, infrastructure engineering, and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMware, Docker, Hyper-V, Xen, KVM, and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of authentication, PKI, and security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Experience delivering technical training and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international environments.

Your Main Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven experience in architecture design, technology selection, implementation, testing, and operations.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise-scale IT solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards, technology trends, and state-of-the-art architectural practices.
• International experience in complex IT projects is highly valued.
• One or more of the following certifications will be considered an advantage:
