Job summary

Axonius’s IT Engineering team seeks an IT Enterprise Architect to design the architectural layer for SaaS, AI, and enterprise apps across a high-growth company. You will establish standards and lead complex, scalable systems to support secure operations for a global workforce.

You will govern workplace tooling with API-first governance and SSPM, lead networking and data security designs, and mentor engineers through implementations. A strong security-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting infrastructure for high-growth, security-focused tech companies.
• 8+ years designing Identity-as-the-Perimeter architectures and large-scale iPaaS integrations.
• Hands-on corporate systems design with cloud-native and SaaS-first focus.
• Proven ability to enable business units via secure access and identity governance.

Job description

The IT Engineering team at Axonius builds the foundational technology infrastructure to enable efficient, secure, and compliant operations for our global workforce. As an IT Enterprise Architect, you will serve as a technical authority, designing the architectural layer for the company’s SaaS, AI, and enterprise application strategies. Your mission is to establish architectural standards and lead the implementation of complex, scalable systems that support a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote architectural standards for all enterprise technologies, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across SaaS and cloud-based platforms.
• Architect, govern, and secure our modern workplace stack, leveraging API-first governance and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) for Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian, ensuring these tools are integrated into a cohesive, secure ecosystem rather than managed in silos.
• Govern the modern workplace stack using API-first governance and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) for Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.
• Lead the design of advanced networking and data security architectures utilizing Meraki Networking, Fortinet Firewalls, and network monitoring systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting infrastructure for high-growth, security-focused technology companies.
• 8+ years of experience designing 'Identity-as-the-Perimeter' architectures and complex iPaaS integrations at scale.
• Substantial hands-on experience in corporate systems design with a focus on cloud-native and SaaS-first strategies.
• Proven experience building core infrastructure that enables business units to deploy tools via secure access protocols and identity governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages and API-first integration strategies for enterprise applications.
• Proven track record of implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within a global organization.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge transfer.
• Experience designing infrastructure to support the enterprise adoption of Generative AI platforms and development tools.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members during project implementation.
• Background in preventing technical debt by ensuring interoperability between infrastructure designs and broader security strategies.

Annual Salary Range (bonus and equity included in addition to the below numbers)

$170,000-$190,000 USD
