Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background checks including motor vehicle records from the last 3 years.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or equivalent: 9 months/2 years/5 years windows as stated.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Must have CDL and endorsements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
