Job summary

The Rise Group, an employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a full-time engineer to support piping design in Chesterland, OH. You will create 3-D piping assemblies from 2-D blueprints and enter design data into the SolidWorks PDM system. Collaboration with a project team will produce detailed drawings for customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and SolidWorks experience (CSWP preferred). Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential, along with proficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CSWP certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience with SolidWorks; 3+ years preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; ability to read 2-D/3-D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create 3-D piping assemblies from 2-D blueprints; 100–1000 parts.
• Enter design data in SolidWorks PDM database for piping assemblies.
• Collaborate with project team to prepare engineering drawings for customers.
