Job summary

Royal Truck in Pennsylvania is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer to draft changes to engineering drawings using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and to update BOMs with each change.

You will assign new part numbers, prepare BOMs, coordinate with Manufacturing for problem resolution, and provide support on engineering drawings and data management tools.

Strong attention to detail, manufacturing aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Proficiency in creating and updating BOMs and part numbers

Responsibilities

• Draft changes to engineering drawings using 3D CAD
• Correct BOMs and assign part numbers
• Coordinate with Manufacturing for problem resolution
• Set up new BOMs and part master data
• Support and train team members on software and processes
• Respond to sales and parts office requests for drawings
