Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Services Mechanical Designer to create and modify SolidWorks 3D models for communication, documentation, and product updates. The role involves supporting engineering change management, drawing creation, and cross‑functional visualization tasks.

Ideally you have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of SolidWorks experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years using SolidWorks in design/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute small engineering change management projects to support product quality and documentation.
• Maintain and update SolidWorks models and drawings for commercial, quality, marketing, and manufacturing requirements.
• Assist production with engineering concerns and provide timely technical guidance.
• Support technical manuals, publications, and cross‑functional visualization needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives.
