Job summary

Lithion Battery Inc. is seeking a Drafter/Technician in Henderson, NV for a hybrid role combining SolidWorks drafting and hands-on prototype fabrication.

The position splits time between creating detailed drawings and building/testing prototypes on the floor. The successful candidate will have 2+ years drawing fabrication/assembly with SolidWorks, plus strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, and ability to work across engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience creating fabrication and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SolidWorks part and assembly drawings.
• Develop 3D models and detailed assembly designs for product development.
• Generate BOMs and accompanying engineering documentation.
• Revise drawings to reflect changes and project needs.
• Support design activities and ensure compliance with drafting standards.
• Build prototypes and assemble mechanical/electro-mechanical products and subassemblies.
• Document build activities, test results, and observations.
• Identify issues and communicate findings to engineering teams.
