Job summary

Webster Combustion in Winfield, KS is seeking a CAD Operator to originate and update engineered drawings for our manufacturing facility. You will prepare dimensional, installation, piping, and general arrangement drawings under the supervision of the Engineering Manager.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting/CAD Design, proficiency in SolidWorks, and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent in mechanical drafting/CAD design.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, piping diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes.
• Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation as needed.
• Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment and manufactured items.
• Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation per Engineering Manager policies.
• Other duties relating to CAD database.
