The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Solid Waste Service Manager at Walt Disney World. You will lead a team responsible for collecting, handling, and disposing of waste streams and recycling, reporting to the Senior Manager-Gas & Water & Waste Resources.
Responsibilities include safety, shift leadership for up to 15 operators, and optimizing routes and service delivery for guests and events. A strong safety culture and effective communication are essential.
As Solid Waste Service Manager, you will be a Walt Disney World Cast Member and front-line leader in the Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES) organization. RCES Cast Members work on behalf of the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) designing, operating and maintaining utility and select municipal systems across the Walt Disney World Resort. This Service Manager is a salaried Cast Member that leads the team responsible for the collection, handling and disposal of Class I waste, food waste, and mixed stream recycling.
You will report to the Senior Manager-Gas & Water & Waste Resources.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $100,100.00 to $134,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
