Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of experience; relevant experience may include physical labor.
• Valid driver's license required for vehicle/equipment operation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
• Vaccinations: Hepatitis B series and Tdap or declinations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the central landfill.
• Processes latex paints and other universal wastes per policies.
• Packs refrigerants into containers.
• Transports universal waste from transfer sites.
• Loads abandoned waste for transport to landfill.
• Assists in tagging vehicles for impound; collects data and takes photos.
• Cuts weeds and brush; assists with snow removal operations.
• Answers customer questions and directs public to disposal areas.
• Performs related duties.
