Job summary

City of Peoria in Arizona is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Public Works department. The role involves operating heavy equipment to complete tasks like excavating, trenching, and street cleaning, and delivering materials to the landfill.

A valid Arizona Class B CDL is required at hire, with possible additional endorsements during the first year. The ideal candidate has 9–12 months of related experience and must be able to perform heavy physical work.

• Work with various solid waste collection vehicles (front load, side load, rear load, roll-off) and articulated tractors.
• List ALL commercial driving experience on resume and application.
