The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in the Solid Waste field, a minimum of one year operating a CDL vehicle, and have general knowledge of health and safety practices. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word, knowledge of Access is a plus) and have a minimum of two years of face-to-face customer service experience. The successful candidate will be able to provide bulk collections in extreme weather conditions and be able to work overtime when requested. The ability to perform safety inspections on vehicles in accordance with Federal CDL guidelines and perform preventative maintenance on all solid waste equipment is preferred.
