The role involves supporting both in-office and field activities related to solid waste landfill and transfer station facilities within the Waste Management Practice. Duties include researching site histories, compiling lab and field data, and assisting with design tasks and CQA activities.

Formación

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering program.
• Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and via email.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to write daily reports.
• Proficient with Excel for calculations and data analysis.
• Willing to work in the field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support in-office tasks such as researching site histories, tabulating lab and field test data, and compiling technical reports.
• Assist design efforts (e.g., stormwater management, leachate generation modeling, landfill gas generation).
• Support AutoCAD design work as experience allows.
• Participate in field activities including observation of geotechnical borings, test pits, and CQA tasks for landfill projects.
• Communicate with office staff, clients, and contractors to support project delivery.
