Job summary

Royston LLC in Jasper, GA is seeking a skilled Solid Surface Operator for 1st and 2nd shift to produce high‑quality countertops. You will cut, build, assemble, and sand solid surface components to exact specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, mastery of shop tools, and adherence to safety procedures. The shifts run 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with solid surface materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and layouts.
• Proficient with power/hand tools (chop saws, glue guns, sanders, routers).
• Strong problem-solving and self-starting mindset.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and layouts to determine material usage and assembly sequences.
• Cut out, build, assemble, glue, and sand solid surface components per job specs.
• Fabricate components in a standardized, uniform manner.
• Inspect finished products for defects and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Maintain material usage records and report defects.
• Collaborate with production teams to sustain efficient workflow.
• Conduct final quality assurance using precision measuring tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
