Job summary

Industrious Ventures is seeking a Development Engineer to contribute to Ursa Major's solid motor program. You'll be involved in designing, fabricating, and testing development prototype hardware while ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional rocket propulsion experience.
• This position requires that the employee be eligible and maintain eligibility for a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean sheet design of novel solid rocket motor elements.
• Lead cross-functional communications to ensure designs satisfy stakeholder needs.
• Maintain proper documentation of all designs.
• Evaluate novel manufacturing approaches.
• Support the design, fabrication, and assembly of prototype hardware.
