Job summary

Standard Process in Palmyra, WI is seeking a Machine Operator for the Solid Dose department on the second shift (3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Mon-Thu). You will operate tablet presses, encapsulating and soft-gel equipment to produce tablets, capsules and gels following GMP and SOPs.

You will verify products, monitor quality with in-process checks, perform changeovers and labeling, troubleshoot issues, ensure accurate inventory handling and data entry.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience handling powders and high-speed manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and follow SOPs and master manufacturing records.

Responsibilities

• Operate tablet presses, encapsulating machines or soft-gel processing equipment to produce tablets/capsules/soft-gels that meet specifications.
• Verify Product Name, Number and Lot code against label.
• Monitor quality with in-process checks and record results.
• Complete finishing and labeling procedures for inventory processing.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjust settings to meet product specs.
• Troubleshoot machine and product issues; communicate with supervisor.
• Data entry and documentation.
