Job summary

Diversified Electronics Inc is seeking a Soldering Technician for an entry-level, hourly role in a climate-controlled environment. You will hand-solder and assemble electronic components according to schematics and BOMs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of hand soldering experience, with ability to read schematics and follow instructions. OSHA-10 and First Aid/CPR are valued trainings.

• Use equipment such as soldering iron, crimpers, and wire stripers to ensure quality production.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
• Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.
• Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Keep manufacturing production logs.

SOLDERING TECHNICIAN

JOB OVERVIEW

HOURLY SALARY

This is an entry level non-exempt position. This individual is responsible for hand-soldering and assembly of electronic components. Soldering experience is required. Individuals in this position must be able to pass and electronic soldering test.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Position is SEDENTARY with lifting, pushing/pulling, or carrying 0-25% of the time of less than 10lbs. Soldering work 75 – 100% of the time. Position is primary preformed in CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILL SET

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years hand soldering experience is required.

REQUIRED TRAINING

• Soldering certification a plus
• OSHA-10
• First Aid/CPR
