Responsibilities

• Perform SMT, through-hole, and mechanical assembly of PCBs.
• Assemble RF modules, systems, and subsystems per drawings.
• Operate and maintain soldering, paste, reflow, and pick-and-place equipment.
• Generate high-quality assemblies and minimize rework.
• Document manufacturing activities per AS9100 procedures.
• Collaborate with Production Lead to meet schedules.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Support multiple production tasks as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Soldering Assembler to support the assembly of high-quality electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies for defense and aerospace applications. This role is responsible for surface-mount (SMT), through-hole, and mechanical assembly of RF modules, systems, and subsystems while maintaining strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surface-mount (SMT), through-hole, and mechanical assembly of electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
• Assemble RF modules, systems, and subsystems according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including soldering irons, solder paste machines, reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines, and PCB washing equipment.
• Produce high-quality assemblies while minimizing rework and maintaining production efficiency.
• Follow AS9100 Quality Management System procedures and accurately document manufacturing activities.
• Work closely with the Production Lead to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple production activities as business needs require.
• Continuously develop soldering and assembly skills, including obtaining required certifications.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with soldering, electronics assembly, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to perform surface-mount (SMT), through-hole, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
• Must be eligible to obtain J-STD-001 Certification.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience assembling electronic or RF products.
• Experience working in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience operating SMT manufacturing equipment, including pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens.
• IPC/J-STD-001 certification or previous soldering certification.
