Job Summary

Solderer needed to perform high-quality soldering on complex builds and products.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, jumper wire, micro-soldering, and hand-soldering.
  2. Perform complex assembly operations according to established specifications and instructions.
  3. Conduct special soldering and assembly processes, including validation builds and engineering sample builds.
  4. Perform first article checks to ensure all components match the bill-of-materials, are correctly placed, and have the correct polarity.
  5. Repair defects in line and enter defect data into CIQ system.
  6. Maintain accurate daily logs and move/production tickets.
  7. Communicate positively and interface with employees across manufacturing and support functions.
  8. Work under direct supervision, receiving work direction from the immediate supervisor or, in their absence, from the Group Leader, Shift Leader, or other assigned management.
  9. Follow simple, standardized, and routine written directions for assigned work, supplemented by verbal or visual instructions as needed.
  10. Keep the work area clean and organized.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of electronic soldering experience.
Knowledge Requirements
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors and peers.
  • Problem-solving skills, including data collection, analysis, and conclusion drawing.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer with Windows-based software.
  • Ability to solder properly according to work order specifications.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting graphs.
