Job description

Kelly Services is actively seeking a skilled Solderer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for soldering electronic components and assemblies with precision and expertise. This role requires an eye for detail and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.

Shift hours: 1st shift Monday through Friday: 7am-3:30pm
Pay rate: $18.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, assembly, disassembly, touch up, rework, cleaning and minor modifications, assemblies and subassemblies within the facility using electronic parts and components and a variety of hand tools.
  • Work from approved visual aids, change notices CNs , deviations and routes and/or any engineer approved changes redlines that apply to them.
  • Move completed product to the next production operation.
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual and dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards, harnesses, subassemblies, and assemblies.
  • Inspects assemblies after machine soldering and completing required paperwork, logs, and records

Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Manufacturing Processes and Workmanship Standards.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to use various hand, air, and soldering tools.
  • Ability to identify electronic components.
  • Be able to lift/carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use manual dexterity and basic mathematics.
  • Work with a microscope and other magnification devices as needed.
  • Ability to work with others and with minimum supervision.
