SolarCorps Clean Mobility Program Administration Fellow

The Opportunity3b
We are seeking a Clean Mobility Program Administration Fellow to support GRID Alternatives99 electrical vehicle charging programs. The fellow will primarily work under single-family residential EV charging installation and public charging programs, but may also engage with other clean mobility programs. The role is remote and primarily computer-based. The fellow will gain skills in professional relationship building, facilitation, logistics, and program management that will be transferable within the renewable energy, education, and nonprofit industries.

Responsibilities3b
  • Assist with EV charging outreach and education efforts
  • Qualify and intake clients into EV charging programs
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email to guide them through program pathways, answering questions about specific program offerings, as well as general inquiries about electric vehicles and charging.
  • Perform administrative and data entry tasks to track clients99 projects in Salesforce
  • Create and update standard operating procedures, internal training guides, and external educational resources
  • Support other clean mobility and program administration teams as needed
What you need to bring to this role3b
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 11-month commitment
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for GRID99s mission and clean mobility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy, proficient with Google and Microsoft Suites
  • Experience working or learning in remote environments
  • When working remotely, you must have access to reliable internet connection. GRID will provide a laptop, charger, headset when remote working is required.
  • Availability for a Mid-Year weeklong Career Readiness Retreat in Oakland, CA
It would be great if you also had3b
  • Familiarity with electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging
  • Experience with customer relationship management software such as Salesforce
  • Bilingual in Spanish

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hourly pay of $21.40 per hour, plus the benefits listed below. Fellows who complete 1700 hours with GRID and complete their contracted term of service will be eligible for a cash end of term award (amount to be determined).

Where you will sit & the places you may go3b
This position may require 10%-25% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects. Availability to work nights and weekends may be required.
GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver99s license and have a good driving record.
