Job summary

Solar Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee three warehouses, manage purchasing, stock levels, and vendor relationships. The role ensures timely support for installation crews, proper inventory control, and safe operations.

The ideal candidate will lead a hands-on warehouse team, driving process improvements, staff training, and adherence to safety policies while coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, and Installation teams to meet material needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on warehouse, materials management, inventory control, logistics, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and material handling.
• Previous experience managing, directing, and developing warehouse employees.
• Strong organizational and inventory-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of three warehouses, including shipping, receiving, inventory, stocking, picking, and material handling.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are accurately prepared and available for installation crews.
• Manage purchasing, stock levels, reordering, and vendor relationships.
• Establish and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures.
• Track orders and ensure materials are received accurately and on time.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment for proper quantity, quality, and condition.
• Manage returns, replacement parts, and the RMA process.
• Prepare materials and equipment for out-of-town and extended installation projects.
• Select, document, and maintain equipment and material inventories for installation crews.
