Job summary

Solar Landscape, a leading commercial rooftop solar developer, seeks a detail-oriented Solar Site Assessor in Asbury Park, NJ to plan and execute on-site evaluations of commercial and industrial properties for solar systems.

You will collect structural, spatial, and electrical data, support permit submissions, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management to ensure feasibility and compliance from evaluation through install.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years in construction or renewable energy.
• Ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Valid driver’s license; travel willingness.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking across projects.
• Ability to collaborate with sales and other departments.
• Familiarity with solar energy and construction.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Document roof conditions, unit locations, shading and measurements.
• Document ground equipment, traffic patterns, and storage locations.
• Collect structural and interior data to support design and installation.
• Coordinate permit submission logistics and travel as needed.
• Travel quarterly to Maryland for MD projects.
• Utilize ERP (Dynamics 365), GIS tools, and MS Office.
