Job summary

Earthlight Technologies is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to tackle diverse solar service tasks. You’ll work independently on residential and commercial sites, removing and reinstalling panels, troubleshooting downed systems, and swapping inverters while documenting findings.

Ideally you have 3+ years in solar service and a valid driver’s license. The role is based in Ellington, CT with full-time hours and an hourly pay in the mid-range, plus a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years solar service experience preferred.
• 1+ years commercial experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work on a roof.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Remove and reinstall solar panels on residential roofs.
• Troubleshoot a downed system and run a robotic panel cleaner.
• Swap microinverters and test equipment.
• Dig into system data and identify root causes, not just symptoms.
• Document work and communicate solutions clearly.
